Parent Peer Mentors

Our Parent Peer Mentor Program connects families with trained mentors who have lived experience navigating the child welfare system. These mentors provide invaluable support, guidance, and advocacy, helping parents understand their rights and responsibilities while working towards positive outcomes for their families. Through one-on-one mentoring, group sessions, and resource sharing, our program empowers parents to build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and advocate for themselves and their children. By fostering a supportive community, we aim to enhance family stability and ensure that every family receives the support they need to thrive.

Support Groups

Our Peer-Led Support Groups offer a safe and supportive environment where parents can connect with others who have shared similar experiences in the child welfare system. Led by trained peers who have navigated their own challenges, these groups provide a space for open dialogue, mutual support, and shared learning. Participants can gain valuable insights, build supportive relationships, and receive encouragement from those who truly understand their journey. By fostering a community of empathy and shared experiences, our support groups help parents find strength, build resilience, and work towards their personal and family goals.

Educational Workshops

Our Educational Workshops are designed to empower parents by providing comprehensive information about child welfare policies and their rights within the system. We focus on equipping parents with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate the complexities of child welfare effectively. Through engaging workshops and informative materials, we cover a range of topics, including understanding legal rights, developing effective communication strategies, and maintaining strong, consistent relationships with their children. Our goal is to foster a supportive learning environment where parents can gain confidence, advocate for their families, and achieve positive outcomes through informed decision-making and proactive involvement.

Case Management

Our Case Management Services are designed to support parents in addressing and resolving allegations made by child welfare agencies. Our dedicated case managers work closely with families to create personalized action plans, coordinate access to essential services, and navigate the child welfare system. We provide comprehensive support, including connecting families to resources and offering practical assistance, to help parents meet their case requirements and work towards reunification with their children. Our aim is to equip parents with the tools and support needed to address allegations effectively and achieve positive outcomes for their family.
